I’m Enock Niyonkuru, a Trinity College graduate with a B.Sc. in Computer Science. My work bridges computational biology, bioinformatics, and machine learning to drive innovation in biomedical research and healthcare. Currently, I’m a Machine Learning Research Affiliate at Berkeley Lab and an Associate Quantitative Analyst at Morningstar, Inc., where I apply data-driven approaches to solve complex problems.
As a researcher, entrepreneur, and data enthusiast, I am passionate about leveraging computational biology to address real-world challenges. My work focuses on developing innovative solutions to enhance healthcare, precision medicine, and biomedical research. From fine-tuning machine learning models like PubMedBERT to creating tools for faster biomedical curation, I’m dedicated to advancing science and technology for the betterment of society.
Beyond my academic and professional pursuits, I am driven by a commitment to creating meaningful impact. As the founder of Born2Serve, I’ve empowered single mothers and vulnerable students, and through Floramigo, I am combined technology and psychology to improve emotional well-being. My journey is fueled by curiosity, collaboration, and a desire to make a difference.
